Love this exercise. Interestingly, although my brand color is technically dark blue (I work with the corporate world as a coach), inside I am definitely a red--and every time I wear a red with a blue cast I get complimented. So, I know that certain shades of red really light me up. In addition, because I am wearing the color of my inner spirit, I feel happy, lively and energetic when I wear red. Not too much of it--a jacket, usually in red or with red touches, complemented by black pants or dress and white blouse which really set off the red. I still wear blue, but not as much. I even have red cowboy boots which I bought as a gesture of fun and celebration when I turned 50!

This is a fantastic video that demonstrates the power of color in evoking a desirable emotional response of YOU in the eyes of those around you. That's what the video is about (to me anyways), and not about getting into the nitty gritty of words used and misused. There is no perfect solution to anything today, but what this video does is spurs ideas and educates on an area that is vital, yet not intuitive at all to most people. Thanks for sharing!

Orange is associated with The Netherlands because their royal family is of the House of Orange.

Nice video, thought provoking. Wish you had been able to explore more colors. There is a particular mustard color that the Germans seem very partial to; I'd love to see some comments on that color from someone who's put time into studying colors in action.

While I'm partial to green, it's probably not my best brand color. I have to think about that a bit. Thanks for the video.

I also saw the unfortunate error that Julia Z mentions in her comments. The slide following the one with the error shows the French flag, referring to the country that ranks the color Orange highly.

I associate the color Orange with the Netherlands. If you have ever seen the Dutch national soccer team, you will remember that they are bedecked in orange. In addition, the rabid Dutch soccer fans are all dressed in orange, too. It appears to be the national color of the Netherlands, even though it's not a color in the national flag.

BTW, the Dutch flag is also red, white and blue.

Nice video - very interesting.
