It’s not sucking up if you enjoy an article and tell the journalist that you did. A quick e-mail or note to that effect will be more appreciated than you probably know and if you can add a little or your perspective that perhaps had not been included in the article you will be remebered too.
Also copy the link and post it on the social media sites you are active on such as Twitter. It’s very easy to do now that you have applications to do that straight from the web. Just my toonies worth.
