  1. When it comes to your personal brand and posting things on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter, I think it’s better to err on the side of conservatism. Sending appropriate messages and making sure that your social media presence is aligned with how you want to be perceived by others is important. After all, this might be the only way someone ever “meets” you. As Kirsten Dixson says, “We are our online identities.”

Great job Kirsten! That was a great quick set of tips to deal with those ‘sometimes uncomfortable’ situations re: connections. ‘Connection criteria’ is a new phrase I know I’ll be using!!

Some great reminders, tips and pointers. You come across so confidently in what must have been a nervey situation – love TV is a whole lot different than anyhting else. Well done.

    Just my toonies worth

Excellent Kirsten …I agree with the previous comments.

Speaking of “sometimes uncomfortable”, can’t Today afford decent seating? :) UK chat show host Jonathan Ross puts his stellar guests on a notoriously uncomfortable sofa. I’m not sure what the rationale is, but some of the guests squirm around trying to get comfy which adds to the humour I guess. However Today’s stools seem bizarrely out of place. You handled it with poise.

Great interview- let’s you brush up on your social media manners. It’s too bad it wasn’t longer really- it would have been nice to hear more about some Tweeting rules, especially in relationship to personal and business accounts. But Kristen, you were awesome!
