I love this commercial because: It held my interest for the entire two minutes. It highlights what Honda is about: cars that work. Perfectly. All the time. They may not be sexy or luxurious, but despite the complexity of automobiles with all those moving parts, Hondas are incredibly reliable.

This brings out the inquisitive school child in all of us. If you go to science museums and see these types of displays they capture the attention of people for ages. Two minutes in video is a long time for an ad – and the first 100 seconds are silent except for the sounds of the items dropping. Music only kicks in near the end.
I am thinking Honda might be resurrecting this ad given the recent Toyota issues – what better way to get across your own quality without directly knocking the competition?
