Having a plan and goals in mind are so important to achieving results - but it's also important for time management. If you set the necessary goals, and have a 'plan' in mind for execution, you'll save yourself a lot of stress along the way.

I use LinkedIn to find potential employers. It is easier to make a cold cold if it comes via someone the caller knows.

Everyone needs to show their employer, or future employer, who they are and why they stand out. Great video - we all love the advice here at the office.

Great interview- let's you brush up on your social media manners. It's too bad it wasn't longer really- it would have been nice to hear more about some Tweeting rules, especially in relationship to personal and business accounts. But Kristen, you were awesome!

As a montrealer, I have to say that I am a big fan of Mitch Joel. I attended dozens of seminars and round tables where Mitch spoke.

I actually decided to become a Personal Brand Strategist after my first encounter with Mitch Joel at a Power Within seminar in Montreal.

If you ever have the chance to see him speak, go for it; it's pure gold!

Paul, I could not agree more about his book.

Showing up is so key, yet we all tend to forget that just as we are about to speak and focus more on the concerns we have about the meeting or presentation. Some food for thought. Just my toonies worth.
