One client I had was the go to person in terms of the latest business ideas, he created a bookcase and lending library system for his own collection of business books. People from all over the company came to him to borrow or get his reviews.

Another client’s real passion was travel, but she only had a few weeks a year to live that passion in person. So she created the ‘mandate’ that anyone in her team who travelled had to send a postcard which she posted on a giant notice board in her office. Eventually it became multiple boards and employees from outside her team started to visit and even send in their own cards.
