Using a tool like the 360 assessment is invaluable not just for getting that all important feedback on others perceptions of your brand, but also you can use it for regular comparison purposes and personal brand measurement.
For example if you are new to the whole personal branding approach take a 360 and use that as a benchmark for your personal brand. Then set your goals, milestones and objectives for your brand for the next 12-18 months. At the end of that period take the 360 again and see the differences (hopefully in the postive!) that your brand has had.
Also the great news about a strong personal brand is consistency so the group you ask for feedback does not have to be exactly the same each time.
